Creators
Creator Rules
These rules apply to creators who build profiles, upload avatar files, publish listings, or receive payouts through Prismavi.
Last updated: June 20, 2026
1. Verification is required
Creators may prepare draft listings before verification, but only verified creators may publish listings or sell products.
Prismavi may request portfolio links, shop links, identity proof, account ownership proof, or direct confirmation through an established creator account.
Verification may be rejected, suspended, or revoked if information is misleading, ownership is disputed, rules are violated, or account security appears compromised.
2. You must own or license everything you upload
You may only upload and sell content that you created or are legally authorized to use, modify, distribute, and license.
This includes models, textures, shaders, scripts, animations, clothing, accessories, sounds, logos, promotional media, and bundled third-party assets.
Credit alone does not replace permission or a valid commercial license.
3. Listing accuracy
Listings must clearly and accurately disclose:
- Avatar name and price.
- PC, Quest, FBT, optimization, and compatibility information.
- Required Unity, SDK, shader, and dependency versions.
- Included files and excluded dependencies.
- Known errors or limitations.
- License, modification, streaming, and commercial-use terms.
- Whether future updates or support are included.
4. File safety
Creators must upload only files reasonably necessary to deliver and document the avatar product.
Prohibited files include:
- Executable files such as .exe, .bat, .cmd, .scr, or .msi.
- Malware, credential stealers, spyware, ransomware, or miners.
- Password-protected archives intended to prevent safety review.
- Files that secretly collect information or contact remote servers.
- Unlicensed software, stolen assets, or leaked products.
Prismavi may inspect, quarantine, reject, or remove uploaded files and may add automated malware scanning later.
5. Never request buyer credentials
Creators and their staff must never request a buyer’s VRChat password, Prismavi password, email password, backup codes, or two-factor codes.
Support should be provided through documentation, videos, troubleshooting, screen sharing that does not reveal credentials, or other safe methods.
6. Licenses and buyer expectations
Creators must provide understandable license terms. Any restriction on personal use, public uploads, cloning, modifications, streaming, commissions, commercial use, or asset reuse must be disclosed before purchase.
License changes should not retroactively remove rights already granted to previous buyers unless required for safety or law.
7. Updates and support
Creators should maintain working downloads and correct material defects they promise to support.
If a product becomes incompatible or is abandoned, the listing should be updated so buyers are not misled.
8. Pricing, promotions, and sponsorships
Prices and discounts must be honest. Creators may not use fake scarcity, fake previous prices, manipulated reviews, or undisclosed incentives.
Sponsored marketplace placement must be clearly identified and does not guarantee sales, ratings, or verification.
9. Reports, strikes, and enforcement
Prismavi may issue warnings, strikes, temporary restrictions, verification revocation, listing removal, payout holds, or permanent suspension.
Serious violations—including malware, stolen assets, fraud, or credential requests—may result in immediate suspension without a warning.
