This guide explains what to do after downloading an avatar package from Prismavi. You upload the avatar yourself using your own VRChat account.

Important safety rule
Prismavi will never ask for your VRChat password. Creators should never ask for your VRChat password. Support should never ask for your VRChat password.
If someone says they need your login to upload an avatar for you, stop and contact Prismavi support instead.
Download your avatar package
After purchase, go to your Prismavi Purchases page and download the private avatar package. This is usually a ZIP file, UnityPackage file, or a folder of files from the creator.
Open PurchasesRead the creator’s notes first
Before opening Unity, check the listing’s requirements, included files, license notes, and upload notes. Some avatars need specific packages, shaders, or setup steps.
Install VRChat Creator Companion
Download and install VRChat Creator Companion from VRChat’s official website. Creator Companion helps set up Unity and the VRChat SDK for avatar projects.
Official VCC DocsCreate or open an avatar project
Open Creator Companion, create a new Avatar project, and let it install the supported Unity version and VRChat SDK packages. If the creator provided special instructions, follow those carefully.
Import the avatar files
Extract the ZIP if needed. If the creator included a UnityPackage, import it into the Unity project. If they included a readme or setup guide, follow it before uploading.
Log into the VRChat SDK yourself
In Unity, open the VRChat SDK panel and log in using your own VRChat account. Do not send your username, password, backup codes, or two-factor codes to anyone.
Build and upload
Use the VRChat SDK Builder tab to check for errors, then build and upload the avatar. If you are new to VRChat uploading, your account may need the required upload eligibility before you can upload avatars.
Official VRChat Avatar GuideTroubleshooting
- • If Unity shows missing scripts, check whether the creator required extra packages.
- • If materials look pink, check shader instructions from the creator.
- • If the avatar will not upload, read the VRChat SDK error message first.
- • If you are unsure, contact the creator or Prismavi support — but never share your VRChat password.
Prismavi buyer promise
